My Madness

"The Method Behind My Madness" starts with using video review.  I often hear players say they are doing one thing and in reality, although they truly believe they are "doing it," watching themselves on video shows them they are not.  Realizing you are not actually doing what you think you are doing will dramatically speed up the learning process.  I use video to not only show you what you are doing but also to show you your progress over time.  Additionally, I use it to show you how to move properly, where you should be on the court, and what should happen based on what situations you find yourself in during a point.

I also believe there is a whole lot more to tennis than just swinging a racquet and a teaching Pro barking instructions on what you are doing wrong.  There is importance in learning the mental side of the game and developing strategies for both singles and doubles. It's also important to implement proper tennis fitness and recovery techniques to lessen injuries. Understanding your goals is important to me as well, everybody plays the game for different reasons.  I believe there is more than one way to play and enjoy the game and my coaching style reflects that.  I also pay close attention to your racquet and string selections to make sure they compliment your game.  I am very much into the analytics of tennis and it can be surprisingly beneficial to the overall health of your game.

I am one who will take a vested interested in you and your tennis game, both on and off the court.  I ask a lot of questions, listen to your answers and build a program from there.  Everyone is different and I adjust my coaching plans accordingly.

Contact me and lets discuss how I can help you enjoy the game of tennis like you never have before!
